TCP/IP protocol architecture is the foundation of the current network, the relevant control of the host will be responsible for the transmission network traffic, including retransmission, the receiving end of the sort, and network congestion control. Internet only transmission channel, is only responsible for passing data.Collection and processing analysis of the relevant network perfor-mance parameters of the host side, has relatively large limitations, since these parameters can only reflect the local network information of the host side, does not reflect the overall state of the network. Detection of the overall network effect is meaningful, because they can carry out the subsequent network optimization decisions based on network conditions.Two-way active measurement protocol (TWAMP) defines the method for a network round trip between any two measurements support this criterion IP performance equipment. Use TWAMP, can effectively measure the performance of a complete IP transmission.Aiming at the specific needs of the operating business room business scenarios, we propose a portable embedded IP network performance test systems, carried out by the probe-side and server interaction. End of the probe is used to monitor the parameters of the operator network perfor-mance. Remote server monitoring system to realize the whole visual presentation and management.The main contents of this paper include:1. Portable IP network performance measurement system needs analysis, and proposed to the embedded chip as the core x86embedded platform architecture.2. Probe Node Design:Design for the security of the system devel-oped x86-based portable hardware platforms and high security require-ments scene. 3. Measurement and analysis of network transmission performance parameters:probe end TWAMP protocol application software develop-ment, including Socket Programming, port monitoring, send the results based on the measurement function.4. Under laboratory network environment, respectively probe end network measurement procedures and server Tomcat Web server program conducted a comprehensive test probe system using the network applica-tion layer performance testing to verify the functionality and performance necessary indicators.After tests showed that portable IP network performance test sys-tems implemented in this article to support SNMP management, greater than or equal to stabilize continue to work for48hours to support TCP, UDP business model.
