Research And Analysis On The WCDMA Wireless Network Structure Based On Multiple Data Sources

The wireless network structure is the skeleton of wireless communication network, which affects the network quality directly. When the load is low, it is not easy to recognize the loss of network quality caused by a bad structure. But, the loss will increase along with the continuous expansion of the business scale and the network load, when it accumulates to a certain degree, all the problems caused by bad structure will inevitably outbreak, resulting in heavy damage to the network quality, which are difficult to be repaired. Therefore, to carry out the research and analysis of wireless network structure, and to evaluate the rationality of the wireless network structure by real time data, are of great significance for the maintenance and operation of our wireless network.To evaluate the health of wireless network structure, this paper systematically reviews the current evaluating system for GSM wireless network, and gives a detailed explanation of the key indicators inside. Based on a fully understanding of GSM wireless network structure analysis system, combined with the differences between GSM network and WCDMA network, and the characteristics of WCDMA wireless network, this paper proposes a new wireless network structure analysis system of WCDMA.This system divides the rationality of wireless network structure into rationality of regional structure and single base station structure. In the study of rationality of regional structure, Overlapping Coverage Degree, Redundant Coverage Degree, are proposed by the paper, and validated by real network data in the paper. And this paper also summarizes the common problems and solving methods of Single base station structure in the research of rationality of single base station structure. Base on the system and those key indicators, this paper proposes a method of optimization for WCDMA wireless network based on the WCDMA wireless network structure analysis system, explains how to use the analysis system and the key indicators to locate the cells with structure problems.
