This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on the basic principles and the main problems about DSR routing protocol for a detailed analysis, then propose an improved algorithm based on the degree of congestion and energy state of DSR routing protocol. The second part describes a practical engineering project during my internship participation, in this project my main job is:involved in the preliminary design and feasibility of the project and needs analysis and on the proposed of database design and development work construction of my own views, gained some experience in engineering practice projects in this process, then based on the project I’m participating in the internship and proposed the idea of using the concept of wireless sensor networks to the DSR routing protocol used in a ship at sea between the temporary formation of a wireless sensor network to interact with meteorological data, in order to improve the reliability and efficiency of collecting marine meteorological data.First of all,the wireless sensor networks development trend is enough in recent years. Wireless Ad Hoc Networks as a new organization, without foundation, networking flexible wireless sensor network is being more and more attention. In Ad Hoc Networks, frequent mobile node leads to a changing network topology, so how to choose an efficient routing protocol for improving network performance plays a vital role, its research has also become a hot spot in recent years. The article introducing Wireless sensor networks in the current application, then carried out a detailed analysis and research on the DSR routing protocol, currently the DSR routing protocol improvements are generally only for one aspect, so this article proposed congestion degree and energy state of nodes to improve the use of the DSR routing protocol, after simulation can be learned through improved routing protocol in terms of survival time packet delivery ratio and network nodes is better than the original DSR routing protocol.Afterwards, introducing what I participated in the project for engineering practice. Currently, most of our AWS’s data transfer are using GPRS network, it’s easily lead ship-generated signal problems such as poor communication at sea, this system utilizes AWS ship "beidou" satellite navigation system meteorological in data transmission, it is convenient for ships occupants and meteorological department forecasters monitoring of local weather conditions with real-time, ensure the safety of the ship sailing. With this based on B/S architecture model to create a system of marine meteorological services, it can be more intuitive access to collect ship AWS and the other surrounding AWS to observation data.Finally, based on the above basic research on the proposed Wireless sensor networks, proposed the idea to create an offshore meteorological data transfer between the ship’s temporary wireless sensor networks, and application of DSR protocol to the wireless sensor networks, to improve the network’s robustness and stability.
