The rapid development of the Internet has brought hitherto unknown impact to print based traditional media. The network popular is quietly changing people’s reading habits. Fragmentation reading and free reading are becoming habit. At the same time, the digital technology develops quickly so that the communication channels and terminals become diversification. Compared with the traditional media content limitation and inconvenient to carry, mobile reading provides a convenient way of reading for the people.Based on the analysis of the original HS group strategy, the existing problems and reasons was fount out. A full evaluation was done from two aspects of macro environment and the internal environment. SWOT method of analysis was used in analysing risk and opportunity. The feasibility and the necessity of strategic transformation was proved. In this paper, combining theory and practice, the implementation of strategic transition should choose the direction of the transition model driven, intra industry horizontal and vertical transformation type and take "main business transformation and capital operation" mode."Business+investment" strategic transformation scheme was suggested for HS media group,.Main business transformation is relying on its own resources. The development of the group will be promoted by product innovation, channel innovation, model innovation, field innovation and management innovation. The specific implementation of the transformation scheme was elaborated. In the study of investment transformation, the research proposal was put forward by case analysis. We can reference "convertible debt" and "equity+claims" mode. At the same time, we can also participate in the fund management and private equity fund to establish strategic cooperative relations.The portfolio investment strategy with core competitiveness would be formed.The traditional news production was destroyed seriously by digital production and social communication. The media industry cannot evasive the historical mission of the transformation of scientific sound scheme,"main Business+investment" strategic transformation is not based on the target of the HS media group. It based on their own resources. It not only affects the sustainable development of the group, but also affects the responsibility and task of customers and shareholders.
