In the recent years, as the development of mobile internet and smart computing technology, physical environment is embedded with many smart sensing and computing devices, which promotes ubiquitous computing and IoT fields. The combination of information and physical environment makes it possible for any person to access applications and service they want anywhere and anytime in anyway. Smart Home is a typical application in ubiquitous computing fields. According to service demands, different kinds of sensing devices are deployed into such a smart space, which are used to sense the states of environment, resources and human activities. Information of this kind is transported to the central system, and used to provide final service to users according to general rules and users’ preferences, in order to meet their needs. However, ubiquitous computing environment is characterized with dynamics and openness. It is hard to forecast the service activities in such an environment such as service register, updating, removing and interaction, which increases the complexity of service coordination. Unappreciated service logic can hardly meet users’need, and what’s worse, they may even cause negative effects. The nature that causes the problem is that ubiquitous service is lack of enough knowledge about themselves and ambient environment and cannot discover and capture the necessary information. While, semantic knowledge model is able to dig out implicit information of services, besides of function part, but the effect to the environment and resource status, and then increase the breadth and depth of service interaction. This paper adopts such an semantic rules to coordinate ubiquitous services. This paper firstly analyzes the current research on ubiquitous computing environment, and focuses on service conflict and coordination. And then, takes smart home as background, establishes context ontology model using OWL, which includes necessary information needed during the interaction between service and environment and resource. In addition, based on the specification for web service upper ontology proposed by W3C, this paper analyzes and designs the upper function model for ubiquitous services OUL-S. The model collects necessary semantic information used in coordination of ubiquitous services. And next, this paper lists some realistic problem and concludes three parts of need. More importantly, according to the three needs, this paper designs semantic reasoning rules, in order to provide proper service strategy result under different context. Finally, the proposed method is verified by ontology building and reasoning tools. In this paper, the result has shown that reasoning rules based on semantics can be well combined with ontology model and finally provide effective solution, and then coordinate the problems caused during service interaction.
