With the sustained and rapid development of telecommunication industry, fromanalog communication to digital communication, communication equipment are putforward higher request. And frequency converter as intermediate frequency tobaseband under bridge, under the digital frequency conversion gradually developed asan important part of the wireless communication link layer. Under the digitalfrequency conversion technology to become one of the key technology in the field ofcommunications.In order to study the digital frequency conversion technology, designed a systemof intermediate frequency digital receiver based on GC5016. First of all from the twoaspects of hardware and software of the whole system are introduced. Hardwaremainly introduced the hardware circuit diagram of the system, the main circuit ofeach part and the key problem of consideration, of GC5016gave a full explanation,finally shows the hardware circuit board real figure. Software shows the overallsoftware design process and the DSP software design process, and carries on thesimple explanation, also can solve the problem of real-time performance ofdemodulation.Secondly, this paper proposes using special digital signal conversion chipGC5016under the frequency conversion, mainly by the sampling frequency of204.8MHz experiment demonstration. GC5016double the rate of treatment was adopted torealize frequency conversion under the204.8MHz sampling data receiving and dataoutput, and then passed to the FPGA for storage, then through the application of highperformance DSP chip C6455implementation of under frequency demodulation andanalysis of data.Finally, and then puts forward the key and innovative research content: the highdynamic system. For receiving device, input signal receiver, due to the influence ofvarious external factors, there will always be strength great changes and ups anddowns. Receiver gain control is particularly important, therefore, request system for small signal and large signal can be controlled within a certain limit. So high dynamicreceiver to meet is the only thing that has practical value. And gain control of thesystem which embodies the gain control of the inverter. Beca use of this, in this paper,the frequency conversion chip GC5016under automatic gain control (AGC) to do theresearch and discussion, and implements the high dynamic control it.
