With the rapid development of science and technology and the improvement ofmanufacture, the enterprise pays more attention on decreasing labor intensity and increasingthe working efficiency. At present, most of materials are packaged by bags to transport andstorage, such as salt, grain, flour and so on. Thus the workload of moving and stacking is veryheavy. It can’t meet the demands of the development of enterprises, which depends on thetraditional way of handing equipment. The object of the subject is automatic transmission lineof salt packaging. The paper realized two sets of control system, based on conventional relayand PLC.Firstly, the paper analyzed the character of automatic transmission line of salt packaging,and introduced the technological process and characteristic of control system, then designed acontrol scheme based on conventional relay. This system includes two subsystems: conveyorline control system and stacker crane control system. It realized the single machine controland chain-conveyor control. Through the industrial wireless remote controller, it can realizereverse start, stop the conveying system and motion control of stacker crane.Because the relay control system sometimes breaks down in the process of the operation,such as plugging package, collision and drop bags, and can’t be handled in time. Especiallyby adopting the artificial count, it has the phenomenon of the big error of measurement andeasy to cheat, the paper designed the control system based on PLC. It researched the systemhardware selection and distribution of I/O points, and designed the realization of eachsubsystem. The paper designed the PC monitoring system based on WinCC. PC wasconnected with PLC through industrial Ethernet, realizing the remote monitoring oftransmission line, alarm query, counting and so on. The system added touch screen controlmode, and designed a touch screen control system based on the MCGS configuration software.Touching screen was connected to the PLC via a serial port, which realized the functions ofconveyor control, counting statistics, alarm query and so on.At present, most high power and long distance belt conveyor’s motor power is not stable,so the paper studied the strategy of how to balance the double drive belt conveyor motor power. By adopting the combination of fuzzy control and PID control strategy, the paperdesigned a FUZZY-PID controller, established the fuzzy control rules, and used MATLABto make simulation and verification.The paper designed two sets of control scheme of salt packaging conveyor automaticproduction line. They have already put into operation, and the simulation and verification wasperformed. At last, the paper put forward further research prospect on control system.
