In the past few decades,the information technology especially the mobile communication technology has experienced an unprecedented rapid development.However,mobile communication networks consume a large amount of energy while meeting the users' communication needs.Recently,more and more attention has been paid to the research of green energy saving communication technology.We focus on the network deployment problem firstly,select the appropriate locations to deploy the green relay node according to the distribution of mobile users in the cell,then dynamically adjust the transmit power of the relay nodes to make full user of the renewable energy,so as to reduce the traditional energy consumption.In addition,we developed a green network experimental platform to provide physical verification and data support for the energy saving strategies in green relay networks.In the deployment of relay nodes,a green relay node deployment strategy is proposed.According to the spatiotemporal distribution of mobile users,the green relay nodes are deployed with different deployment locations and quantities in different time intervals.In addition,an iterative merge approach for relay nodes is proposed to solve the problem of redundant deployment and green energy spillover.In terms of the power control of relay nodes,a green relay power control strategy based on reinforcement learning algorithm is proposed.Firstly,the Markov decision process model is introduced and established based on the data packages and harvested renewable energy.The Actor-Critic algorithm is used to find the optimal transmission power control policy,which can effectively ensure the good performance of the wireless network.In the development of the experimental platform,we divide the platform into three modules,namely the network building module,the energy supply module and the centralized management module.The status monitoring,real time configuration and automatic power control of the network nodes have been implemented,which can effectively provide data support for the energy saving strategies in green relay networks.
