Ultrasonic corrosion monitoring system is to monitor metal pipeline corrosionsituation by ultrasonic technology. It uses the ultrasonic transmission circuit to emitultrasound, and then uses the receiving circuit and data acquisition circuit forreceiving ultrasonic echo. It needs to calculate the thickness of the metal pipe changeaccording to the processing of ultrasonic data to monitor the effect of metal pipe.This paper mainly introduces the technical method of corrosion monitoringsystem and the advantages and realization method of ultrasonic corrosion monitoringsystem. According to the ultrasonic corrosion monitoring system implementationprocess, paper first introduces the hardware circuit design. Ultrasonic corrosionmonitoring system hardware circuit is mainly divided into launch circuit andreceiving circuit. Launch circuit mainly includes the high voltage circuit, drive circuit,and negative pulse generating circuit, etc. Receiving circuit mainly includes limitercircuit, the amplification of ultrasonic detection circuit, filter circuit, data acquisitioncircuit and FPGA circuit, etc. Through the high pressure circuit it can produce highvoltage signal, through the negative pulse it can generate high voltage signal. In orderto protect the receiving circuit, limiter circuit needs to be designed. By magnifying thefilter circuit it can enlarge ultrasonic echo and filtering processing, so as to ensure thestability of the waveform. In order to get a better echo, it designs ultrasonic detectioncircuit to facilitate data sampling circuit for echo. The results are stored in internalFIFO make the ultrasonic data cache. MCU can get data from the FIFO, and then itcan calculate the thickness of the metal pipe value, which is corrosion monitoring ofpipeline.The software of the system mainly includes the excitation pulse generatedprogram, high speed data acquisition program, FIFO calculating program and results.Pulse generating program mainly produce regularly stimulate the pulse signals ofultrasonic probe. High speed data acquisition program controlled by FPGA is mainlyfor high-speed AD on echo signal acquisition. FIFO program is to real-time storage ofthe data collected in the FPGA internal FIFO. Results calculation procedure is tocalculate the actual thickness of the metal pipe echo time intervals, so as to completethe monitoring role. Software program is strong flexible, high reliability and easymaintenance.
