In the time of internet and mobile, video becomes an important mean to access to information, especially, mobile video have become an indispensable daily source of news. H.264has theadvantage of low bit rate but high image quality, fault-tolerant capability, network adaptability etc. With fewer amounts of data, H.264can provide a higher image quality, ease of transmissionnetwork and a mobile terminal. However, the characteristic of video and network openness makingsecurity becomes a problem of video transmission, which is a research hotspot of network security.Functional requirements, hardware requirements and software requirements of video acquisitionand transmission security system are analyzed in detail, and then according to the analysis andcomparison of different hardware solutions, S3C6410and OV9650have been chosen for design tomeet the requirements of video acquisition.Linux and x264codec pack have been transplanted to S3C6410. After analysis of therequirements of software, software frameworks of video acquisition and compression have beendesigned. Based on the framework, designs of video acquisition and compression module have beenmade. Experimental results show that the captured-video can meet the application requirements ofimage, the video compression module can be substantially compressed while maintaining goodimage quality.A video security AES encryption algorithm has been chosen to handle video data, thealgorithm work on OFB mode that selecte the DC coefficients of I frame and I macroblocks ofB-frames and P-frames to encrypt. Simulation and theoretical analysis shows that the encryptionscheme is fast, safe, can ensure secure transmission of video data.
