In recent years, with the development of science and technology, Mobile phoneupdate more and more quickly, the thin and large touch screen mobile phone is occupyingmore and more market share, and at the same time higher requirement has been putforward about the mobile phone structure design. Almost all the famous mobile phonebrand of the customer service repair center data indicate that the chance of replace themobile phone shell and screen touch and LCD is more and more higher because of thephone shell, Touch and LCD broken. And cause the customer complaints. Therefore it isvery urgent to improve the structure strength of mobile phone products. Many scholars athome and abroad adopt finite element analysis method doing mobile phone drop simulation.Current research is aimed at the mobile phone which has been eliminated. But research onthe popular Large screen thin mobile phone just appeared on the market is limited.Therefore the structure design and finite element analysis of a large screen mobile phoneare carried on based on the existing research results in this paper.This paper introduces the design specification and key points to attention about themobile phone structure design. This provides a theoretical basis for structure optimizationdesign and mechanical properties research. A large screen mobile phone is designedthrough CATIA V5software. Then the solid model was imported directly into ANSYSthrough the ANSYS and CATIA V5interface. And thus get the finite element model ofmobile phone. Through modal analysis of a large screen mobile phone, got thecorresponding first2natural frequency of the mobile phone, avoided the mobile phone’snatural frequency, select the appropriate mobile phone vibration motor. Research thecollision force effect on the phone shell, LCD, Touch and battery components according todrop simulation calculation through the DTM module from software ANSYS/LS-DYNA.Finally get the corresponding stress and strain distribution and the acceleration anddynamic characteristics. Then get the dangerous area of the mobile phone. And put forward the corresponding optimization proposal. Provide reference for the study and optimizationdesign of structure strength for this type of mobile phones.
