IOT (The Internet of things) is a new generation of information theory, which isinformation carrier based on the memory storage of Internet and the links of communicationsnetwork to achieve the extension technology, system network and business applications in thephysical world and the information world. IOT is as the internet technology to cognition,perception and measurement, self-organizing network management, intelligent andself-diagnosis function, communication and information sharing between things, people andobjects as well as for economic development and social life, where is human will have animportant impact on the way. Thus, IOT is a physical linking of key technologies for smartcities provides intelligence to urban efficiency optimized configuration management.How to build IOT based on the theoretical and systematic, and find the methods as themain line, which is the suitable properties of IOT, and proposed the research of Things basestation based on lighting facilities. IOT have the stage of rapid development, IOT theory isbased on information technology to build communication networks and the Internetarchitecture, the information technology which is a sensor network, RFID identificationinformation, location tracking and/or intelligent regulatory networks. However, according tothe communication network construction mode and mature novel things to analyze andcompare the characteristics of the construction, the construction scheme of IOT with thebusiness model cannot follow the traditional telecom network construction and the way theyoperate.In this paper, the historical background, development and related issues of thecommunication network, Internet and IOT have been studied. According to the relationshipsymmetrical between information space and physical space in the generalized informationtheory, the IOT network is associated the things base station which have functions tocognitive, perceptual, measured a large scale of information from various physical space,which is mirrored to a steady stream of information space, and then things theory andtechnology construct the theoretical system of the IOT.As the functional design of IOT and Things base station, through the evolution of thecommunication network, the Internet and IOT. Analysis the links, exchange and covered, memory and machine addressing from the development of information technology,comparisons of the communication network and the IOT, which should be as the extensionnetwork of the IOT in the public service communication network, the things base stationconstructs associated with fixed telephone, mobile phones, computers and other parallel at theuser level, things owner terminal(TOT) construction with electronic tags, optical code labeland smart sensors and other smart devices. Effectively demonstrates the things base stationhave the functions of self-organization and self-learning, cognition and perception,measurement and management. And proposed the IOT construction method come from theIOT extended network, which is constructs with things base station and things ownerstermina.There is a problem which the urgent needs of the construction method for the realizationof IOT. In this paper presents a IOT implementation based on lighting and lighting facilities,which is a versatile, effective coverage in the internet of the things and together with fast,low-cost, simple networking. The things base station embedded in the lighting facilities whichas the carrier, there are the function of cognitive, perceptual, measurement for the constructionof pathway, achieve the traditional communication network extends to public areas or indoorspace refinement. This method satisfies IOT have the features of low cost, efficient, flexible,ubiquitous and other required for real-time Internet of things, perception, measurement andother functions, can be an effective way to achieve the construction of IOT.
