LTE is an evolutional standard based on OFDM and MIMO, launched by3GPP in March2005, and becoming the next internationally accepted standard after the3rd generation mobile communications. TD-LTE wireless network planning is a series of procedures such as site selection, engineering and wireless parameters configuration in order to meet the coverage, capacity, quality requirement of the customers and balance the telecommunication carriers’s expenditure.Compared with FDD LTE, TD-LTE is still short of scientific planning method and networking technology. The thesis studies the key networking planning elements in TD-LTE systems, such as MIMO networking, transmission mode and frequency planning according to particular network scenario by using system-level simulation method and in terms of data from China Mobile Group TD-LTE large-scale Trial. It is expected that the results in the thesis will be helpful for the large-scale commercialization of TD-LTE system in China.
