Along with the economic and social progress, people’s demand for multimedia information is becoming more and more rich. Digital video technology has been greatly developed, especially in the video surveillance industry, in which the digital surveillance system is facing the unprecedented reform. The video surveillance system based on analog signal has been gradually replaced by a high-definition digital signal system long before, with the widespread popularity of the Internet and the rapid development of embedded technology, video surveillance network are being changed to be integrated, networked, intelligent. But the most surveillance solutions of Video monitor market are provided by the analog "front end+center of Digital mathematical" mode, namely the DVR (Digital Video Recorder, hard disk Video Recorder). DVR monitoring has better performance than traditional analog surveillance system in audio transmission, image processing, video retrieval and playback, remote control. But DVR way products still are not fully networked, it’s acquisition front-end of audio and radio use analog signal. The signals processing which are from front to center server, use analog signals. There are still insufficient for DVR in network cabling, equipment control, video backup, image quality, system extension, etc. Clever combination of the embedded technology, digital media technology provides theoretical basis to solve the above problems. In this paper, combining with the current Video monitoring technology development trend and market demand, Hisi Hi3512high-performance multimedia processing chip design was adopted to realize the C/S model of the whole Network Video monitoring solution:IPC (IP Camera, Network Camera)+NVR (Network Video Recorder, Network Video Recorder) system. This paper mainly discusses the NVR server system overall design and implementation.As the core of network video surveillance products, NVR Server is mainly composed of the following function modules:1. Video forward requests module, using RTSP, RTP/RTCP protocol, implements front IPC video information access. It forwards audio by multicast or on demand according to the set.2. Video storage, playback module, according to the user Settings, uses timing video manual video to record the real-time video data, provides support for later viewing, development playback module, video retrieval, playback function, according to the h.264stream characteristics to design efficient video playback system.3. Intelligent detection module, receives moving object coordinate information improved by the IPC, combined with the behavior rule specified by the user to judge moving object motion, and mainly realizes intelligent alarm module which bases on regional alarm and pickling line alarm.4. Other auxiliary modules, includes NAT through module, which implements users’ request video based on the mode of NAPT in LAN, heart rate monitoring module, which realizes real-time condition monitoring of IPC server, forward control command module, which implements cloud control command, subtitles OSD command, etc.Through the realization of the core functions of video surveillance, NVR system has reached the commercial goals.Now this system has got application in armed police logistics department, power plants and other places, and has obtained the good effect, received the affirmation of the user.
