With the development of the society and the popularity of the computer science, the Internet of Things is more widely used than ever before. It is a tendency to get and analyze the data retrieved from the resource in Internet of Things. Sensor device is always large-scaled, heterogeneous and has a limited capacity. Thus, we should do some configurations manually before accessing. Simultaneously, considering the limited capacity of the resource, we cannot put all these processes into the resource device. So we need to develop a resource management platform to implement the access, adaptation and interpretation of the resource.Traditional resource management platform puts the job of the resource access into the gateway, which can cause the low efficiency of the network and even paralyzes of the whole Internet of Things. As for the protocol access, using DPWS can burden the job of the network.Considering all of the above, this paper proposes a solution of the resource management platform. It can do as same work as the traditional one. Moreover, the new management platform is independent from the hardware and will not cause the problem called single point of failure. Since the function of the new resource management platform is unique, it is convenient for users. In this paper, we first introduce the functions we need to do in the new resource management platform from the perspective of the requirement analysis. Then we talk about the framework of the system and the architecture of each module through the preliminary design. Next we concentrate on the implementation of the resource management platform. After that, we test and validate our work. Finally, we get a conclusion about our job.
