With the development of the mobile communication, the technology is aiming at the way with more antennas and wider band. And as a result, to get deeper research and more valuable test becomes harder and harder. Wireless Channel emulator can simulate the standard channel scenario defined by3GPP/ITU, just using the hardware of emulator. It can achieve many kinds of jobs, such as for te research of MU-MIMO and CoMP system simulation. In the development of user equipment and LTE re-search, channel emulator is worthy.Nowadays, the channel emulator makers are all foreign enterprises. The price of the emulator is so high that it becomes the obstruction of communication research. Our nation is developing our own communica-tion standards, however, the foreign institutes pay little attention on TD-SCDMA. We need the emulator with our own intellectual property.The research work of this paper is based on the project of the devel-opment of the time-variant, MIMO, multi-dimension channel emulator. This paper Introduces how to use the hardware to simulate the channel model, what we need to do to make a emulator, whether the hardware is enough for our development, and how to complete the playback approach. We need to make a full use of the DSP and FPGA, to try the best to re-duce the error rate.Then, this paper gives the approach to communicate and transfer da- ta with a high speed within the multi DSP cores. And, we use the NDK to communicate with other device by the Ethernet link.Finally, we summarize all the work of the paper, and find what can be done further.
