Software radio platform has a wide range of applications in wireless communication in these years, for its advantage of flexible development, low cost and good compatibility. The purpose of software radio platform development is that the digital signal is close to the RF front-end as far as possible to make use of the advantage of digital software development which is more flexible than that in hardware. Software radio platform consists of RF front end, D/A conversion, digital frequency conversion, FPGA and DSP, ARM, internet access and user interface and so on. These parts constitute the basic communication platform, able to complete the basic communication function, and complete the development of a variety of communication systems according to the different upper of compatible system.The work of this article is mainly finishing RF front-end processors and signal channel part of the software radio platform, which consists of RF front end, D/A conversion parts, digital frequency conversion part and the FPGA. to provides a stable, flexible channel processing part For the development of software radio platform. Job content includes the circuit design of RF front end and the channel processor and software development of FPGA. Circuit design contains the design of performance indicators, circuit diagram design and PCB layout. FPGA development channel includes the clock domain part and control part. Moreover, according to I/Q imbalance of the orthogonal signal, this article discuss the estimation and compensation of I/Q imbalance, and finish I/Q imbalance compensation implementation in FPGA.
