With more and more attention of the Things of Internet and Radio Frequency Identification(RFID), low-cost and real-time open hardware platform for UHF RFID system appears to be moreimportant. But tradional RFID system only can achieve a single function of the tag identification. Inview of this situation, effective fusion of software defined radio (SDR) and RFID has becoming thekey problem to be solved.Therefore the innovation about appling software defined radio technology to UHF RFID withfundamental of SDR has been introduced in this paper. The paper designs a scheme of softwaredefined radio hardware platform based on flow structure, focuses on the theoretical analysis andsimulation of the analog front-end and digital front-end, draws up circuit schematics, and thenfinishes the hardware platform combined with engineering practice.At last the hardware platform is joint debugged with X86multi-core processoers in theWindows software testing environment and the spectrum of the transimitted and received signals isanalysised. Debugging and analysis results indicate that the hardware works well, which based onsoftware defined radio platform for RFID system designed in this paper, and two devices cansuccessfully transimit and receive siangls in915MHz, all of which verifies the feasibility of thescheme.
