In recently years, with the development of the modern industrialization, the excessiveusing of coal, oil, natural gas led to more and more CO2discharged in the atmosphere andit does change the global climate environment. The increasingly serious greenhouse notonly changed the living environment that we lived but also threat to the survival of allcreatures on earth.In order to reduce CO2emissions and control the trend of global warming, humanshave been from different aspects to explore the solutions to solve the problem, such asdevelopment technology, implementation effective policies and ordination mandatoryregulations, etc. Through the continuous researching and international cooperation, TheCO2capture and storage (CCS) technology has become the hot spot and importantalternative to reduce carbon emissions gradually. As a technology which can separate CO2from industrial production and stored in underground or the bottom of the sea in order toachieve the sequestration from atmosphere, CCS can solve the problem fundamentally, soit is a technology with extremely development potential. Even though the CCS technologyhas not exist for a long time, but the research of our country has already move on from thetext period into industrialization stage.With the promotion of CCS demonstration, it is extremely urgent to solve the securityproblems of CO2geological storage. We need to create a strict monitoring and controlsystem for CCS projects and early warning mechanism to avoid the leakage of CO2. Therepository of the surrounding soil and atmospheric CO2monitoring is an important part ofCO2geological storage monitoring. Through the long-term monitoring, we can not onlyfind the escape of CO2, but also can confirm the escape path and the quantity of the CO2.We also can find the influence of CO2geological storage to the surrounding environment.Although the monitoring to CO2in environmental, greenhouses, vehicle exhaust and otherfields has been widely applied, there is not a professional mature system applied for themonitoring of CO2geological storage.To analysis the requirement of the geological storage of CO2monitoring and considerthe complexity of the field of monitoring environment, This article applies the modularstructure combination to design CO2monitoring system based on infrared technology. Thissystem mainly includes the power supply device, the meteorological factor monitoringdevice, the infrared CO2monitoring device, the wireless transmission module and some other parts: The solar power device applies to solve the power requirements for the otherparts; Through the CO2and meteorological factors monitoring devises, it completes themonitoring and data processing function to the CO2and meteorological factors that affect it;With the wireless data transmission module, it realizes the communication between thedata acquisition and the GPRS network; Through PC monitoring platform softwaredevelopment and database design, it realizes the remote monitoring of CO2and relatedmeteorological factors.This article gets the following conclusion:(1) By using the sensor system to meteorological factors on data acquisition andDT50collector for data processing, it’s advantageous to realize the real-time monitoring ofthe meteorological factors of CO2; it improves the precision of CO2capture and alsoensures the accuracy of the data by using infrared technology and modular structure tobuild CO2monitoring device.(2) The system gets charged by the solar power supply on so that it can work normallyin the field; Using the GPRS network for data transmission can reduce the interference ofthe external environment. lower the complexity of transmission design, makes the wirelesscommunication simple and easy. due to the reduction of the complexity of transmissiondesign, thereby realizing the simple and fast wireless communication.(3) It improves the data processing ability by using MYSQL relational database forboth data analysis and storage; The adopts modular design also makes it easy for upgradeand extension in the future.
