| Meteorological monitoring control system is a comprehensive monitoring system based on computer, communication, electronic technology and industrial control. It makes up of meteorological sensor, data acquisition unit, pretreatment system and central server. Data acquisition station is comprised by meteorological sensor, data acquisition unit and pretreatment system. Data acquisition station and the centre server communicate based on Modem. The thesis summarizes the characteristics of computer control system and its development actuality at present, introduces the development of the software engineering, and briefly presents the design thought of the object-oriented technology and UML.UML which is a finely defined, easy express and powerful modeling language has been fully utilized in the design. UML has used to analyze and model the meteorological monitoring control system. Some kind of views and standard documents on the function requirements for static structure and dynamic structure of the system are established. Then the system is realized easily. And the meteorological monitoring control system is put forward to overcome the shortcomings of the traditional method.In the realization, the realization of data acquisition and transmission and memory by using 386 microcomputer is discussed in detail. The principle and the realization of serial communication and Modem control and file memory and some problem should be noticed are explained in detail. With analysis of meteorological temperature data, ARMA model is produced to predict and control the system. In advanced design, traditional meteorological monitoring control system was designed by control program which worked not on operating system. With analysis of the characteristic of embedded Linux, embedded Linux will be used in the design of meteorological monitoring control system. It makes for realization of the system and enhancement of the performance and extending of the function.
