It is the rapid development of modern media, broadband technology, multimedia communication, digital and Internet that makes the digitizatio n of cultural works become so popular, meanwhile the protection of strea ming media intellectual property arouses much more people’s attention th an ever before. Adobe and other companies have launched their own DR M solutions. Although DRM systems have increasingly been developed, t here are still some problems to be solved with the encrypted video over th e network. If user want to start from the middle of streaming media instea d of the beginning, then the general encryption system only allows users t o download all the other streaming media before watching, greatly reduci ng the user experience. In addition, the contents that user browsed before will be saved in local machine, if this problem is not resolved, then copyri ght protection is meaningless.For existing DRM solutions, combined with RSA, AES and other encryption algorithms, as well as the Open Source Media Framework (OSMF) player which can be used for the secondary development, this paper presents a framework based on open source dynamic streaming media copyright protection algorithms. Open Source Media Framework and the fragmentation of the media processing technology, makes it possible for user to browse the contents with dynamic drag, at the same time, once encryption and conditioned authorize makes the permissions of user access only applicable under the author’s decision, and this becomes a effective solution of the problem that some user only identified for one time but view the content without restrict. Test results show that the Open Source Media Framework (OSMF) dynamic streaming media digital rights management algorithm not only effectively prevent unauthorized streaming diffusion, but also greatly enhance the user expenence.At last the works of the paper are summarized and a further view of the research and promotion is taken.
