In the course of PLC teaching, because the shortages of experiment equipments,students could not fully learn and use the equipments in the experimental process.Experimenter can complete a variety of experiment project with interactively experimentoperation, by the virtual experiment platform. To a certain extent, it can solve the time limits,space constraints and resource constraints, and other issues in the traditional experimentteaching.In this paper, the object of research and simulation is YL–335B automatic productionline test equipment of Yalong Company. It is studied that the design and implementation ofautomatic production line virtual experimental platform based on general configurationsoftware. After analysis the technical characteristics and the functions of YL–335B, allstations of the realization of the control system design method, and thoroughly study controlprogram of all stations, then structured programming control program design is presented.Through the MCGS configuration software project planning and construction of thevirtual experiment platform, real-time database structure, design, user window to set ofrelated parameters, main control parameter Settings window, communication port Settings,the operation strategy program writing and engineering test success.Using the virtual experiment platform for debugging of PLC control program, also canexercise the student’s ability of programming and debugging. And the advantages asfollowing:(1) the use of virtual experiment platform debugger does not mechanical failure,saving debugging time;(2) the use of a PLC can debug production line5workstationscontrol program, no plug download cable;(3) the use of virtual experiment platform forteaching demonstration is vivid and high efficiency;(4) can be used for a variety of modelsPLC control objects, learning PLC application skills.
