With the great development of Internet and database, it is possible to build school roll managingsystem for vocational school. It also overcomes the difficulties of searching, updating andmaintaining which result from manual management.Given the above problems, the managing modes in vocational school of different classes anddifferent types are analyzed. As the background of Changshu vocational school, the school rollmanaging system for schools in Jiangsu Province was learned. This article designs the databasemodel for sub system, which based on ASP.NET, to realize the function of students informationmanagement, school roll moving management and information Statistics.At the beginning of the article, the development and demand of the project are analyzed. Basedon the analysis, the general design project is made and each module is defined and analyzed. Then,the Roll Managing System is designed, which is illustrated by specific design of Database concertand the logic design. As a result, the systematic and specific design is structured. The system isapplied by utilizing B/S mode, the technology of ASP.NET on the platform of.NET Framework andC#language. The Database is managed by ADO.NET and SQL Server2000. At the end, the systemis tested and the drawbacks are analyzed and solutions are proposed.
