With the development of information technology and the demand of modern management, theassist and support of video monitoring system has been an efficient way for improvement workefficiency, reducing costs and security production. In the large games and events, Games VideoMonitoring System is an important way to handling emergency and it’s an important part incommand&dispatch, and it will and provide the current situation of venues for leadership, andefficiently assist to resolve emergency pre-Games&during Games. In addition, Games VideoMonitoring System is a necessary tool to get the information if the other emergency incidentsimpact the Games. This paper will combine with practical projects, and discuss how to design andcarry out the Games Video Monitoring System.Firstly, we discuss the business platform and functional architecture of Telecom “MegaEyes”Video Monitoring System. Secondly, discuss the overall architecture design via core platform,storage system, monitoring center and image coding, and provide the technology design for thelarge network monitoring system, and analyze system function and application ability. Base on theMegaEyes platform, according to the design standard and planning, on the request of highmonitoring&high multiples, here we develop a construction way for the high-definition videosystem for international Games. We will consider the construction, maintenance and operation, andit will leave room for development, expansion and improvement. The system design in this paperhas been implemented and applied in current business.
