With the development of society informatization, the video surveillance system with the low-cost, powerful and flexible function has been widely applied in public places. In order to build a harmonious, safe and normal campus for the teachers and students, in view of the actual situation, the video surveillance system has been designed and implemented in Sichuan Electromechanical Institute of Vocation and Technology.This papaer mainly elaborates the software design, the function design and the implementation scheme of the network video surveillance system, this paper describes each function module and the hardware and software realization process of this system in details, according to the characteristics of video monitoring and combined with the actual situation of Sichuan Electromechanical Institute of Vocation and Technology, this paper explores the system structure, the system analysis and design, the database design and the data exchange in order to establish a practical application system.Based on the fact that the IP network video surveillance system is composed of three big modules: the data acquisition subsystem, the video monitoring subsystem and the data management subsystem, the current data acquisition subsystem needs a larger bandwidth to collect the video data, utilizes BF527 chips to run H.264 algorithm in order to compress the video data and then uses IP multicast technology to transmit the video data.The detailed design process is as the following:(1) Collect and research the relevant papers at home and abroad on the video surveillance system, and summarize and utilize these papers to complete the summary report.(2) Study the relevant technologies of the system development, analyzes the Web development technologies and WebService framework that will be used in the system, stduy and understand the principles of SSH framework, and study the MVC design patterns and Oracle Databases.(3) Analyzes the system requirements to prepare for the system design: combined with the actual situation in Sichuan Electromechanical Institute of Vocation and Technology, analyzes the background, the functional requirements, and the non-functional requirements such as the robustness and security of the video surveillance system.(4) Introduce the architecture of the network video surveillance system in Sichuan Electromechanical Institute of Vocation and Technology; combined with the actual situation, carry on the overall structure designs and the function module designs such as the design of the data collection, the design of the IP multicast and the design of PTZ control system database; prepare for the coding of the system.(5) Use MyEclipse8.5 development tools to establish the whole campus video monitoring information system, and show the related interface screenshots.(6) Study the computing methods of the optical flow field focuses on the motion detection to achieve detecting the moving objects in the designated areas.After completion of the system development, the video surveillance system is deployed in the real network environment, and the system can run normally and basically meet the demands of the network video surveillance in Sichuan Electromechanical Institute of Vocation and Technology.
