Analysis And Modeling Of CTO Architecture For Supply Chain Management Based On TOGAF And ProVision

CTO (Configuration To Orders) means users depend on their own requirements, select the parts in the system and generate a custom order. Then transmit the order to factory, after assembly, complete the order as soon as delivery. CTO realize Zero Inventory, reduce the inventory risks, realize customization, increase sales volume and product flexibility. As the company has lots of legacy issue, currently is utilize TOGAF for architecture analysis and design and ProVision for modeling. TOGAF(The Open Group Architecture Framework) provides methodology and tools to develop and maintain enterprise architecture. ProVision is an enterprise modeling tool, it supports the integration of business strategy, business process, application and technology.CTO in laptop industry has below features:short lead time, high demand in data transmission, system reusability and scalability, system security. Therefore, the architecture and modeling design should have top-down business model, uniform data model, reusable application model and reliable technical.The thesis based on TOGAF methodology to design architecture of CTO project and create modeling via ProVision. Especially focus on four core layer: business architecture, data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture.After practice, comparing with other projects which don’t use TOGAF, CTO system is better in architecture analysis and design. And the deliverable is more available for real projects.
