Data collection system of student information digitalize students management, whichaccumulates large amount of student information. Resource sharing can be achieved byclassification and arrangement of these information. Rather than pure data collection work,this method develops high efficiency and practicability and realize the society and economybenefit of digital management.In the process of student information management, the improvement of accuracy andefficiency is the key point. Rather than pure data collection work, management system shouldbe changed into effective integration of students resource, which promote effectivemanagement. As a result of the networked and informationized management, the datacollection system should have the function of network.Today, there are many data collection systems. For the boundedness of their function,few systems could realize the digital management. In order to improve the efficiency ofmanagement and competitiveness, school should combine management work with digitalmethod. This system provides an entirely new environment for the management staff doingstudents information collection, which greatly improves the work efficiency.In this paper, requirements analysis is done to Jilin University. Based on that, specificfunction modules in data collection system are confirmed. Some frequently-used functions ofstudents data collection system is achieved and at the same time some unique functions is alsodeveloped in this system such as information resource sharing service.This system utilizes the layered architecture which consists of presentation layer,business layer and data layer. This system is based on.NET framework and asp.net, ado.netand xml are used. This system realized student information collection and management andreduced academic affairs management workload of staff. It also make it easier to schoolleader’s inspection at the same time.Through this system, scattered resources are integrated and management work isaccomplished efficiently. Enhance of the university educational administration information, standardization of development, greatly improving the efficiency, it has achieved anticipatedtargets.
