The Design And Implementation Of Barracks Card System Based On The Servicemen’s Social Security Card

Now，with the processing of building the forces’ information system, militarysecurity card pilot project has been become more and more general in past ten years. Italready plays an important role in the daily life of soldier. As a kind of intermediary, themilitary security card not only brings convenience to soldier’s life, but also it can savenatural resources and promote the efficiency of operation. However, in the view ofvarious camps, information is not valuable and shared among various systems which hasbecome a practical problem cannot be ignored that on the aspects of barracksmanagement, resource protection, energy savings, convenience, and the unit needs. This isa shameful behavior when we just input most of human resource, financial resources andnatural resources for constructing or developing a single management field (such asaccess control, attendance, library, identification, water and electricity management). Itcannot play the uniform application of resources, did not fully reflect the advantage of hightechnology in the efficient application of the actual needs of the quartering areas.Based on this consideration, in this paper, the design of the barracks card systemcombines the nature of different kinds of card system, for example the function ofbusiness support, military barracks, internal management, credit card consumer, andentertainment. The development of the barracks card system is based on the system ofservicemen’s social security card. In the future, the barracks card system will add moreand more new functionality which is thanks to the card’s reserve storage space.Furthermore, access control, catering, consumer, books to borrow, attendance, water andelectricity management are added to the new functionality of the card. The system usespowerful smart card IC and offline transactions, etc, force support of the private network,barracks within the smart card, truly achieve the "one card in hand, all over the barracks".First of all, this paper combined with the construction of the servicemen’s socialsecurity card system, analysis of the significance of the subject of the research background and research, from the smart card development, the application status of thebarracks card system, the barracks card function of the system development, to the systemrequirements and feasibility analysis, each perfect in the system design, comprehensivediscussion of the design and implementation of the barracks card system.Secondly, the barracks card system application subsystem access control, librarymanagement, consumption, identity design, and system architecture program planning.Finally, the complete system design, management module, console modules, theinformation management module and database module is completed, to achieve thebarracks card system.
