As an important part of news report and political communications,political report is also one of the popular themes in academic studies. Withthe rapid development of Internet, online news report is increasingly popularand online political report more influential. Therefore, the study on theonline political news report in China has practical and theoretical meanings.The National People’s Conference and the Chinese People’s PoliticalConsultative Conference sessions figure importantly in our national politicsand economy. The system of people’s congress, multi-party cooperationunder the leadership of the Communist Party of China and politicalconsultation constitute China’s fundamental political system. The annualNPC and CPPCC not only serve as the platform for people’s representativesto participate in the administration and discussion of state affairs, they alsoprovide the vehicle for consulting the public opinion on state affairs and thepractice of democratic politics.The thesis amis to analyze online special coverage on the2013China’sNPC and CPPCC by xinhuanet, NetEase and Ifeng and compare the topics,characters, comments and sources of information in the relevant reports ofthe aforementioned three online media.Based on the abovementioned analysis, the thesis will discuss theformation of reports as well as the respective strong points of the onlinepolitical report of the three online media, thus proposing some advices on thefuture management of political reports of online media.
