The Design And Implementation Of Police Information Management System

With the development of information technology at the Ministry of PublicSecurity, data of public security is getting much larger. How to regulate data formatthe same types of data among different departments within an administrative region,accelerate data transmission, change the existing data transfer model depending ontelephone, electronic form or other data transmission medium, to improve theefficiency of the public security is the problem for this system to solve.The paper studies the exchange of the police intelligence information.Basedon an analysis of production, approval, distribution, feedback, supervision,evaluation and file of police intelligence, regulate the collection of policeintelligence by making a template; Tesae processes of police intelligenceinformation processing tasks combining the characteristics of different departments.Use a workflow approach to develop an appropriate approval process in order toassure the validity of information processing. And aslo accomplish the automaticjump of processing and to ensure the effectiveness of information archiving.Improve the efficiency of the police intelligence departments through the system ofautomatic monitoring function.The system uses B/S architecture design. Uses web forms to standardize theinformation collecting and XML technology to regulate the process definition,combined with part of the workflow of the international standards as well as customworkflow engine of police intelligence processing, and then uses the workflowengine to complete automatical jump of police intelligence information amongdifferent processing people. Its own business scenario simulation tests indicate thatthe system meets the design requirements and it is able to meet users demand forinformation gathering.The implementation of the project offers a set of police intelligencemanagement system, which is a good solution to the incompleteness of intelligenceinformation and the not-in-time information exchange. It also provides a feasibleand efficient solution, not only for the public security to collect information in othersectors, but also to analyse information and to deal with the data.
