Abstract/Summary:
WSN is multihop networks made of a lot of wireless sensor nodes throughwireless communication, It has the ability to deal with the data collection,management, fusion, and transmission, meanwhile, it makes the combination withmicro-electronics technology, embedded computer technology, wirelesscommunication technology, and information processing technology, theenvironmental data in monitoring area could be collected in real time, and thentreated and transmitted to the observers through multihop networks. As a newtechnology in data collecting and management, WSN has significant advantages inmany fields.In this study, we focused on problems in our country such as the backward ofagricultural modern information technology, low technology content of agriculturalmonitoring system, low degree of automation, blindness in technology application,and made exploring research on WSN-AM, for the sake of achieving theeffectuation of data monitoring in real time, long arrange and automation, makingup the shortage of traditional sensor, providing the practice basis for the wirelesscommunication technology utilization in agriculture. The hardware design includedsystem node design, data processing module design, wireless transmission moduledesign, data acquisition module design, and power supply module design; thesoftware design included the data acquisition module, wireless transmission moduledesign based on ZigBee, data upload module, and data base, also we debuggedWSN-AM and tested it. The results showed that: It was viable to combinecommunication technology with agricultural monitoring, WSN-AM could satisfythe needs in data acquisition in agricultural monitoring, this result also provided thebasis for the effectuation in intelligent agricultural wireless monitoring system.
