The power supply module is the power guarantee of many industrial loads. With themarket requirements on the product performance being improved constantly, the testingproblem of the product is paid more and more attention. Among those software, the CVI isgained favor by the demotic integrators of the testing system because of the simpleprogramming method, the advantage of real-time performance, and short developing cycle. On the basis of summarizing the domestic and foreign research results of functiontesting system, this paper designs and realizes function testing system about the powersupply module based on LabWindows/CVI. The main research contents are summarized asfollows:(1) To complete the overall design of the system. According to the specific requirement, this paper analysis the method of the test target, and give out the overall system architecture.(2) Electrical designs. Including the electric circuit of function test, the safety circuit, the control circuit and the bench power suppling circuit.(3) System software designs. Mainly including the design of the function testingprogram under automatic mode, equipment monitoring and maintenance mode; the designof the panel and control program. Among those, multiple tasks are operated parallelly byusing CVI multiple thread technology. Communication between IPC and differentindependent instrument is established by using VISA.The work in the paper has been presented on the concrete system. The actualoperation shows that the anticipated goal of the design and research of the whole systemhas been reached. At last, the paper has a positive influence in the development of thesimilar test system.
