Process-oriented bank is a new banking pattern, which is based on process.Different from original department-based banking pattern, process-oriented bankre-constructs original business process, organizational process, management processand the culture concept of a bank. The key to apply process-oriented bank lies in thefollowing two aspects: the re-construction of business process and support ofinformation technology. This thesis elaborates the application of process-orientedbank in constructing an Account Central System (ACS).In the first place, we will introduce the re-construction of the business processof ACS, which is based on the requirement of process-oriented bank. Currentbusiness process of ACS is that all business are manipulated by each branchdistributed all over the country. We propose to collect all business to the BusinessProcessing Center, and completed manually or automatically on server. Thus we canlargely decrease the work load of operators in branches, standardize the businessprocess, and collect the business processing data.In the second place, the design of Account Central System is introduced. Underthe guideline of re-constructed business process and the rule of modularization, thewhole system is divided into different functional modules. Similar functionalmodules are merged leading to multiple sub-systems, workflow platforms and imageplatforms. The systematic design of workflow platforms and image platforms areconducted, accounting for the following six aspects: framework of the system, application architecture, division of functional modules, external interface, technicalframework, and database design. Meanwhile, the technological difficulty of systemconstruction, slice task distributing mechanism, is designed. At last, we compliment all functional modules in the subsystems and platformsaccording to system design. Most of the functional modules in the system aredeveloped with Java, making full use of Java’s characters of abstraction, inheritance, encapsulation, and polymorphism, so that the functional modules are independent, convenient for reusing and migration. Some functional modules can be repeatedly employed in many sub-systems and platforms. In the course of realization, somefunctional characters such as multithread concurrence, ineffective nods are taken intoconsideration, and are utilized in the development of corresponding modules. Afterthe system is realized, functional test and performance test are designed and carriedout in line with system business processing, in an effort to verify whether thefunction and performance of the system meet the demand of business, and thenpropose some optimizing suggestions on the system according to the testing results.
