As people are focusing more and more on environment issues, environmentconstruction is getting more attention too. The area of the lawn-make-green enlargedrapidly. Besides the increased demand of special law, the home lawns are everywheretoo. But the technology promotion in turf grass industry lags the practical application.Because the non-professional can’t master the technology of starting and manage alawn completely, when they building a home lawn, they have difficult in choosing akind of suitable turf grass and they can’t adopt an effective measure when the lawn isharmed by pests and weed. So to use computer technology and the related tools tobuild a “management and intelligent decision system of turf establishment” have asignificant meaning.It based on the internet and can store a large number of the turf information andcan screen the suitable turf grass convenient and efficient according the requirementof starting lawn and through the computer reasoning. The study based on the divisionof artificial grassland’s climatic zones which is from Comprehensive and SequentialClassification System of grassland (CSCS). Depending on the development platformof wamp sever(Apache,MySQL,PHP on Windows, and adopting C#(C Sharp)、PHP(Hypertext Preprocessor)and the structured query language(SQL),“Themanagement and intelligent decision system of turf establishment based on network”is built. This system mainly has two big functions, browser the query and intelligentdecision-making. It not only can teach people to choose and manage different kind ofturf grass in different areas scientifically, it can also digest the existing researchachievement of the turf grass industry, to realize the information resources sharing.Research findings are as follows. The system based on:“Three library”.(1)The knowledge base includes varieties of turf grass, lawn and groundcoverplants, lawn machines, ornamental plants, turf grass pests,the lawn quality evaluationand the technology of building and protecting different uses of lawn, and it containsa lot of image information; The database mainly includes the species of turf grassdatabase, the lawn grass seed classification database, meteorological informationdatabase; The model base mainly according to the classification model of artificialgrass from the CSCS and query and intelligent decision-making rules model.(2)The system to browse the query function refers broad scope of lawn, containsa large amount of information, which can be used convenient and quick. Andintelligent decision-making functions through computer reasoning, can complete theselection of different kinds of turf grass in different climate zones and with differentUSES of lawn, It as well as a guidance with an intelligent function of theimplementation of lawn planting method to the whole process of maintenancemanagement etc. The function of the intelligent decision-making system combined the rule model with the logic and reasoning of expert systems, improves thescientificity of lawn planting and management.(3) The system has a friendly man-machine interface and a way of expressinginformation based on regularization, and an intelligent management function,simplifies the interface between each subsystem, the user easy to master. Systemflexible combination of each part, to changes in the environment and change the wayof decision-making have a certain adaptability, which can realize powerful function,and easy maintenance.(4) The system development based on the network, can make more people enjoythe network lawn of knowledge service, provides the lawn planting and managers andenterprise decision support, better realize the lawn information resources sharing.
