Smart Homes System Of Internet Of Things Based On ZigBee

In the field of the smart home, Honeywell has been seised of market and technology experience for20years. The smart home products have been widely used in realty trade in China. With the fast development of internet of things, wireless sensor network and wireless communication technology, Honeywell smart home system has a more expansive foreground.Because of the difficulty of wiring and real-time controlling and complex structure in current smart home system HRIS-1000, a new control system design proposal HRIS-2000which is based on ARM and ZigBee wireless technology, is proposed. The main contributions are as follows:(1)The overall solution is given. The central gateway hardware platform is set up, which is based on ARM microprocessor. It can be accessed to public networks through internet, and in-house appliances and other networking facilities are connected into one through the ZigBee Wireless LAN to achieve information appliances.(2)The design for the hardware is introduced. Microprocessor chip S3C2440of ARM series combining with wireless chip JN5121is adopted as its main control platform. The thermometry and pyroelectric infrared sensor, relays and ZigBee wireless node block are integrated to achieve the relevant functional models.(3)The design for the embedded home gateway program is presented. The linux operating system, embedded file system and embedded database on the ARM9development board are transplanted. The progam of the serial port reading or writing program based on Linux operating system is programed, which lay the root for system development.(4)A ZigBee star-network in HRIS-2000application is used well.(5)The system is tested. As we hope, this system is good at remote access capabilities, otability and extension.
