Temperature and humidity are the two significant environmental factors, whichare closely related to people production and living. The measurement of temperatureand humidity has been widely used in various fields. With the increasing developmentof science and technology, the temperature and humidity measurement system needhave the characteristics of miniaturization, intelligent, low power consumption andmulti-point record. The design of temperature and humidity recording equipment is ofgreat significance, which meets the people requirements and has the feature of lowpower dissipation.Firstly, the paper introduces the source of the subject and the significance ofresearch, then expounds the present technology development of the temperature andhumidity recorder, as well as the research content of the subject. Afterwards, based onthe requirements of the subject makes the outline to the system design and putsforward the overall design scheme of the hardware and software of the system. Afterthat, from the three aspects of hardware, software and low power consumption indetail elaborates the design of the system. Finally, the test results of the prototype aregiven.The design of system hardware are introduced respectively for the individualmodule, including MCU circuit, temperature and humidity measuring circuit, buttoncontrol circuit, PCF8583clock circuit, power supply circuit, LED indication circuit,Flash storage circuit and USB control circuit. The system software design consists oftwo parts: lower machine and upper machine. Firstly, the design of various moduleprogram of lower machine is presented in detail respectively. Then, for each interfaceof PC software has carried on the detailed instructions. The low power consumptiondesign of system is the key to this topic design. At first, the overall thought of lowpower dissipation of system design is introduced. Then, the comprehensive statementof low power consumption design is made, which from two aspects of hardware andsoftware.The test of prototype proves that, the proposed design of multi-channeltemperature and humidity recorder with low power consumption has thecharacteristics of small volume, low power dissipation and simple operation, whichcan be applied to various occasions the need for measurement of temperature and humidity and has the widespread application prospect.
