The History-of-achievement Of Jiangxi "Er Quan"

“Er Quan” is combined by the two authors who called Zhao Fan and Han Biao.They lived in Shangrao Jiangxi province in Southern Song Dynasty. Zhao Fan, whose“hao” is Zhangquan had been appointed to many Supplementary Official titlesbecause of the ancestral favors. But he hadn’t any tastes in them. Later he got theofficials that called “Taihe Zhubu” and “Chenzhou Sili Canjun”. At last he putforward the official because of a debate with Earldormen. Then he lived in seclusion30years. At this time, he was indifferent to fame and fortune and devoted himself tolearn. Han Biao, whose “hao” is Jianquan, was a direct descendant of the “TongmuHan’s Family” and son of Han Yuanji who was a Ministry of Personnel in the years of“Xiaozong”. After a period of official career, he lived in seclusion20years. Theambition and interest of “Er Quan” were different from ordinary people, they wereindifferent to fame and fortune, and willing to poor and plain living. Furthermore,they had a deeply friendship with Xin Qiji、Luyou、Zhuxi and other distinguishedscholars. Their literature styles were based upon seniors’ effort, and integrated intotheir own life experience and spiritual interests. The research on different aspects oftheir lives can reflect the complex society reality and the people’s values at that time.There are a few points of my paper. First of all, searched all of the data and studythem. From these data I can tap useful information and find out some detailedevidences.Secondly, told the true from the false. Studies always make mistakesbecause of the apocryphal and complex historic materials of china. When I waswriting my paper, I discarded what is false and kept what is genuine as far aspossible.At last, arranged all of the data and investigated in the round. After SouthernSong Dynasty, historic materials about “Er Quan” were very scattered. And theirbiographies are short and simple. So I need to clarify the sequence of their lives. Thispaper would explain the twisted life track and literature contribution of “Er Quan” bycollecting, refilling and correcting the raw historic materials.
