Agricultural informatization is one of the effective ways to solve the ruralissues concerning "agriculture, countryside and farmers” which has won greatsupport of the government and recognition of the society and farmers. In recent years,with the deepening of China’s agricultural informatization construction, agriculturalinformation systems are applied more widely in agricultural production activities.Under the leading role of a series of agricultural informatization infrastructureconstruction such as the "Jin Nong Project","rural informatization construction ofdemonstration bases", China’s agricultural developments in information technologyhave undergone greater changes. Currently, the information system projects aimed atagricultural information, production and training have emerged in the nationwide,which promote agricultural informatization and enable the farmers to get the latestinformation. But most of the information systems have these problems: singlefunction, low level of integration; lack of standards, insufficient utilization; lowscalability; complex operation, poor intuition. Thus, how to choose the matureexisting computer network and software technology, integrate distributed functionalmodules, form unified standards, improve system utilization and scalability, increaseusing convenience, introduce innovative and practical features have become the keysto solving these problems.In this paper, the comparative analysis of development situation focus ondomestic agriculture information systems and construction in Fujian Province,summarizing the advantages and disadvantages. On the foundation of.NET platformand SQL Server database technology, it expounds the.NET platform-based designprincipal and implementation. According to the specific circumstances in FujianProvince, it develops a chain of distinctive and practical technology, concerningagricultural consultant, the instruction of agricultural knowledge, agriculturalinformation, agricultural management and the introduction of video communication,dual sound and graphics card, inter-cut strategy. The main arguments of this paperinclude the following aspects:1. Analyze development process and related research achievements for.NETand database technology, summarize their application in agricultural informatization as a basis for the development of each module’s function.2. Analyze overall framework of the agricultural information system with eachmodule’s function, including functional requirements analysis, system architectureanalysis, database analysis, then construct the preliminary system framework.3. Detailed design of functional module on the foundation of analyzing andconstructing the framework, including functional demand analysis,database designand key technical analysis.4. Develop the system on Visual Studio2008platform and SQL Server database,integrate and test the system finally.
