Development And Application Of Modern Agricultural Information Service Platform

At present, informatization has become the most crucial technological factor to promote economic development and social progress. With biotechnology and information technology unceasingly thorough applied in agricultural, modern agriculture and information agriculture must be developed rapidly. Agricultural Information System, as the carrier of agricultural information technology, will play an increasingly important role in promoting continuous, stable and efficient agriculture development. Agricultural Information, which is the essential characteristics of agricultural modernization in information age, is an inevitable trend in the development of agriculture. It is the basic requirement of comprehensive building well-off society, as well as the basic requirement of Chinese agricultural modernization, to use modern information technology to transform traditional agriculture so as to combine traditional agriculture with information technology. To enhance the research of agricultural informatization and find a suitable reclamation agricultural informatization development mode has vital theoretical and realistic significance for contributing to the rapid, healthy and harmonious development of reclamation economic and archieving agricultural modernization.As is known to all, Heilongjiang Province is a big agricultural province, however, rich harvests for many years running didn't bring farmers considerable income, and difficulty in sale and higher output without higher income has become big problems which troubled the rural economic development of the province for a long time. Research and application & development exists unbalanced relation, especially the severe problems between transformation of achievements and development and popularization of application, in addition, agricultural information industrialization level is lower. Therefore, we should further enhance research of agricultural informatization development strategy to find a suitable and high-efficiency agricultural informatization developing mode so as to rapidly promote the development of agriculture and rural economic in the province. This paper combines the concrete condition in agricultural production of Heilongjiang land reclamation and the policy guidance of the Government to plan and construct the modern agriculture information service platform aiming at competitiveness of farm produce and farmers' income decreasing caused by impeded information which will restrict agricultural economy development in rural economic development process.The design of modern agriculture information service platform in this paper incorporates computer network, middleware and component technology, such as adopting B/S structure, using JAVA as main programming language and Struts as development framework, and Oracle 9i as backend database.This paper consists of five parts: firstly, anylizing the purpose and significance of modernalization agriculture information service platform construction, and researching the application situation and countermeasures which should be adopted both at home and abroad. Then, discussing the design and function about modern agriculture information service platform Finally, analizing and explaining the economic and social benefits after the platform was applied, after that, analizing the future development trend of agricultural informatization.Modern agricultural information service platform mainly includes integrated application platform, agricultural production material management, land resources management, agricultural machinery operation management, agriculture standardized production management and e-commerce and so on. Through the spread and exploitation of the product, farm users will begi n agricultural production and operation management using functions of modern agricultural information service platform so as to provide necessary insurance for the quality, yield and efficiency on food supplies in land reclamation and give a guarantee for the accomplishment of the strategic target to 100 billions food supplies in Heilongjiang Province.
