Design And Implementation Of Active Radar Calibration Equipment Based On DRFM

Since the measure precision of the radar target is directly related to the level of thetarget location and tracking performance and the size of the fire control computationprecision, so in the development of radar shaping stage, combat system test, the weaponsystem alignment and the sensor precision inspection work,it is required to verify andcalibrate positioning and ranging performance of the radar to eliminate the zero deviationcaused by repairment, component aging, deformation and other factors of the equipment.So developing the active radar calibration device to measure the performance of the radarhas certain practical significance.This paper conducts the thorough research on the designand implementation of the active radar calibration device based on DRFM.This paper first introduces the research background and development status of activeradar calibration equipment. Next discusses in detail the principle of the digital radiofrequency memory technology and radar performance calibration used in the active radarcalibration equipment. For the digital frequency part, analyzes the theoretical model andimplementation structure of channel separation and synthesis technology based onpolyphase filtering structure. For the the radar performance calibration part, introduces thebasic principle of radar calibration based on GPS and the principle of calibration signalgeneration. Then, elaborates the overall equipment composition, the framework, the indexrequirements and methods to solve some key technology of the active radar calibrationequipment from the viewpoint of system level. Finally for the realization scheme of activeradar calibration equipment, discusses in detail the design of hardware design and softwarerealization of the equipment, and carries on the corresponding test to verify theperformance of the equipment, and gives the test results and performance evaluation.
