With the rapid development of enterprise informatization, business modeling is playingan important role in describing, designing and analyzing business. Multi-view businessmodeling can give a detailed description of enterprise business from multiple views andperspectives.But when the models are more complex and modeling work has a greaterworkload or relys on technology in different areas of expertise, the modeling of single userwill have significant limitations.To improve efficiency of multi-view modeling and involvedifferent skills and scope of group members, the demand of adopting real-time collaborativeediting (RTCE) system increases, which can support multiple users from geographicallydiverse locations to collaborate with each other in real-time.Aiming at the operation conflicts in the domain of collaborative multi-view businessmodeling, an integrated consistency maintenance method is proposed combining with theexisting collaborative editing consistency maintenance mechanisms. This paper focuses on themulti-view collaborative business modeling conflict detection and resolution of datainconsistencies, and implements multi-view modeling based on meta-models. Furthermore,activity based costing and critical path methods are adopted to analyze the process modelwhich has the time and cost attributes, in order to provide quantitative analysis andoptimization for the process model of multi-view modeling.The study is summarized as following:1. Multi-view business modeling based on meta-models. Multi-view business modeling based on meta-model is proposed in this paper. Firstly,upload and parse the meta-model file which is created by ontology construction tool. Thenstore the meta-model information associated with each view into the database. Finally,reference the meta-model information during four views modeling in order to obtain thestandardized and uniform model definition.2. Consistency maintenance mechanism for collaborative editing.Research the various types of conflicts during collaborative multi-view businessmodeling and study the corresponding solutions. Determine the type of conflict by analyzingthe relationship between the operations and target models. Afterwards, take the appropriatesolutions for different types of conflict to support multi-view business modeling.3. Analysis method of process model.Set the time and cost attributes of process activities in process modeling phase. Byintegreting the process analysis with process modeling, activity based costing and critical pathanalyses are studied, which provides quantitative analyses and basis for further optimization.4. Prototype system of collaborative multi-view modeling and process analysis.The prototype system of collaborative multi-view business modeling and processanalysis has been built.To verify the usability, distribution business of a logistics enterprisewill be used and the relevant interface effects will be displayed. Finally, verification resultshave been analyzed and discussed.The discussion and comparison show that the proposed framework of collaborativemulti-view business modeling and process analysis can improve the efficiency of businessmodeling well and the research work has certain application value.
