With the increasingly development of information technology, smartIC cards have been widely used in the financial sector for its highsecurity,large storage and support for multi-application. However, thecurrunt online banking systems, especially systems for personal financialapplications are still based on magetic cards,and Internet banking theftoccurs frequently. Traditional financial terminals cannot support multiplebanks or merchants, and bring some inconvenience to users. In thisbackground,the design of new financial terminal has great practicalsignificance.This paper studies the defects existing in the current terminal systemand analyzes the financial terminal application requirements,then proposesa dual working mode design plan which can support for multipleapplication. Firstly, develop hareware drivers according PCB circuits.USB CCID protocol is adopted in order to realize the automatic workingwithout extra drivers. Then the Chip operating system is designed andoptimized, which consists of function management, file system and safetysystem. The OOP methord is used in function management to improve thescalability of the system. Design a multi-level file system and use theimproved first matching algorithm to manage the storage space; Adapt theregional state machine mechanism and threshold protection to ensure thesafety status independent of different applications.The design of file andsecurity system solve the cross problem under multi-application situationproperly. Finally, test the system and make modification according to the specification of State Cryptography Administration.The design can realize the financial operation in IC cards directly andachieve authentication during networked transaction to prevent fromdeceptive practices more effectively than traditional USB KEY.Itcombine the convenience of networked transaction with high security ofsmart IC cards, which is of high practical value.
