With the greatly improvement of information, UKEY, namely smart card reader device are widely used on the Internet Band and virtual trading by more and more people as a financial security products. At present, the development of UEKY is still in the early, so the use of the UKEY is not as convenient as we thought. In this condition, we design and realize the USB mass storage and smart card reader composite device, so as to promote the development of UKEY, and bring more convenience in our daily life. The main contents of this paper are list as below:1. The present situation of USB mass storage and smart card reader composite device, and influence and meaning of this composite device if we realized successfully.2. The theoretical basis of USB mass storage and smart card reader composite device:For USB mass storage device mainly defined by USB2.0protocol and some MASS STORAGE related specifications; for the smart card reader device mainly defined by CCID protocol and smart card related standard such as ISO-7816. Based on the above theoretical basises, we design the USB mass storage and smart card reader composite device.3. The implementation of composite device, also it’s the difficult and main innovation point in this paper. The hardware platform is a C51MCU with IS8U192A chip dedicated to the development of smart card reader. Based on the hardware platform through the C language in the software named Keil to realize USB2.0protocol, CCID protocol and composite device. The implementation of the CCID protocol is the difficult, the realization of composite device is the innovation point of this paper. In this way, we can regard a single device as a mass storage and an UKEY as well, the mass storage can store the corresponding driver of this UKEY, thus the composite single device can realize the real play and plug, make UKEY can be free to use and without the limitation of the driver.4. Though the test software USB1yser and CCID protocol tester which programmed by ourselves, we can test the function of composite device we realized. Though the device manager we can test the composite device whether can be recognition by computer.
