Remote electronic bidding evaluation refers to the remote electronic bidding. By usingadvanced technology of computer, security and network communication, the joint biddingevaluation committee, which is composed of experts from multiple construction engineeringtrading center of several cities, can complete the whole bidding in local trading center. Theresearch of The Construction Engineering Bidding and Tendering Management Network ofShandong Province is set up to supervising the engineering bidding activities in this province,to providing a network platform for the bidding parties, and to offering information inquiryservice for the society, finally to constructing a provincial unified regulatory platform, aservice platform and an information platform for the construction engineering bidding andtendering system. This thesis Designing and Implementation of Remote Electronic BiddingSystem is just one part of the research topic.The paper firstly introduces the background and significance of the topic and analyzesthe status quo of electronic bidding system, as well as the related technology used in thesystem platform. In the following chapters, the thesis thoroughly analyzes the demand of thissystem with the ideas and functions of software to meet the needs of actual application,defying the different user roles. Based on the functions of the system,the function structure,implementation architecture and approach to data storage management is therefore designed.And the core business modules in this system are described in the form of a flowchart indetail. The system involved in this thesis is composed of three main modules. The threemodules are as follows: the host of open bidding, the terminal of bid evaluation experts andthe coordination center. Remote electronic bid evaluation system completes the wholeevaluation process by means of integrating the terminal of bid evaluation experts scattered indifferent areas with the host of open bidding in the main venue through the coordinationcenter, and by means of comprehensively utilizing the remote evaluation resources in thetrading center around the city. The system combines various techniques and tools, such as Web Service technology, Web Ajax、XMPP transfer protocol and Socket mechanism. Runningtest shows that the program and technics of the system is reasonable and mature, achievingthe requirements of designing and application.
