Design And Implementation Of University Student Affairs Management System

The informatization of university student affairs is an inevitable trend so to develop acomprehensive management system of university student affairs is an effective approach tochange the student affairs pattern.Aiming for Centralized data management, data sharing, the safety and efficiency ofdata access and taking the case of the informatization process of university student affairs inZhanjiang Normal University, this dissertation is devoted to the design and implementationof the information management system catering to university student affairs. With differentkinds of departments and students affairs, the management system of university studentaffairs is very complex. Because of limit of the paper volume, this dissertation only targetsat the design and implementation of some featured students affairs and functions. Thecontents are shown below:1. Understand the status-quo by conducting researches on informatization process ofstudent affairs in domestic universities. And by investigating the types of student affairs inZhanjiang Normal University, an analysis about the requirements of student affairs has beenmade to clarify the structures and use cases of different types.2. The structure of the system is based on its functionality and non-functionalityrequirements. And the system is suitable for a wide range of terminal devices based on themixed structure of B/S and C/S catering to various functions.3. The system database is developed on the requirements of student affairs and systemframework. According to the rules of database design, this system database is devoted toreach the requirements of3NF, aiming to design a highly shared, consistent, Quickly Dataupdating and easily expansive database.4. The application program is developed on the requirements of student affairs, systemframework and a designed data development system and then tested particularly for thecomputational accuracy of Student Comprehensive Evaluation.On the process of design and implementation, the service functional structure, its usecase and procedure are designed by Visio2003; the conceptual and physical models ofdatabase are designed by PowerDesigner15.1; the application program is developed on Visual Studio2010; the operating system is developed on Windows2008R2; the databaseplatform is applied on SQL Server2008; the operational framework of application programis based on Microsoft.NET Framework4.0; Now the system is on a test run and can meetthe requirements of some student affairs.
