Extensive application of management information system is one of the signs of Higher Education Modernization. Today, Student affairs management is an important business of the school, the work runs through all aspects of students’study and daily life. College enrollment enlarge and the rapid growth of students make it harder the daily management of the students. Therefore, integration of advanced information management tools and models to achieve the computerization and networking of student affairs administration and enhance the quality and efficiency of the student management has become a trend in management mode of modern universityFirst of all, this dissertation introduces the significance of Student affairs management information system and the status of domestic and foreign research and development. And then this dissertation proposes the main content of the development project. Based on the actual needs and the present situation of computer application in YICHUN college, this paper designs the student affairs management system based on the campus network.. And then, this dissertation analyzes the business requirement of management of the student affairs for basic information management module, dormitory management module, comprehensive evaluation module, discipline management module, finance management module, system maintenance module by use of business flow diagram. This paper also compares with the old and optimized business process. The system also carried out a detailed functional requirements analysis by means of database flow diagram and Sub module structure diagram.Based on the foregoing technology analysis, detailed database analysis on this student affairs management information system is discussed by use of entity-relationship diagram and table structure of the database. And provided fifteen entities such as Student user information, employee user information, dormitory distribution information, dormitory check information, funding for information, funding audit information, discipline and punishment information and so on. In the end, the content of the research and the author’s works are summarized again, points out the shortage of the develop, and the following development work is described.
