Nowadays, urban railway transit is in great construction and development all around thecountry, with characteristics of large freight volume, fast speed, environmental protection,energy saving and so on. Up to now, there are over1500kilometers’ urban railway transitconstruction all together in29cities authorized by the Chinese government. It’s predicted thelength of our country’s subway routes will reach2600kilometers in2015. The transportvolume of urban railway transit is huge, so the total power consumption is tremendous,becoming one of large electricity users of the city. Only the electric charge occupies30.7%ofthe operation’s direct cost. With the development of urban railway transit network, the totalelectricity will substantially increase, so reducing energy consumption of railway transit andthe total electricity is a response to the country’s call-up of energy conservation and emissionreduction, also the urgent need of building friendly subway, reducing operational cost andrealizing the sustainable development for enterprises. The essay aims at finishing the designcompletion of the comprehensive energy saving management system of urban railway transit.The essay researches on energy consumption status of the current urban railway transit,analyzes the background of energy-saving management of urban railway transit in detail, andthen has a demand analysis on the comprehensive energy saving management of subwayoperation. Design implementation of the comprehensive energy saving management system ofurban railway transit includes system architecture, system interface, system data, and systemapplication and so on. Besides, it’s applied to the secondary development of software basedon the third party platform, realizing all the designed system functions. The system haschanged the practice of traditionally regarding the simple system or equipment as theenergy-saving control object. Instead, it realizes the trans-disciplinary comprehension bycombining energy consumption statistics, analysis and management of the metro stationtogether, from the perspective of the system itself. It can solve not only the one-sidedness ofenergy-saving control of simple system or equipment, but also the disconnection issuebetween energy consumption statistics and energy-saving management.The system has finished two field applications tests in Sanyuanli Station, whose resultshows that the tunnel ventilation system and ventilation and air conditioning system ofSanyuanli Station have made an obvious energy-saving effect, the energy-saving rate hasachieved16.65%and19.76%respectively,verifying the usability of the system. It has alsoprovided important references for the energy-saving construction of old lines andenergy-saving management of new lines.
