Design And Production Of Multimedia Courseware For Clothing Styles And Garment Patterns

With the rapid development of computer technology and the reform of China’seducation system, information technology has gained more and more attention inhigher education. Multimedia as an advanced teaching method and means, haschanged the way people get information from traditional methods; it also effectivelyachieves teaching through human-computer interaction and creates a new moderneducation platform with wide application in various disciplines. Sufficient andappropriate research and application of multimedia digital education mode could notonly effectively promote the transformation of learning-centered approach to learning,but also could be able to handle and coordinate all aspect and elements of teachingprocess, and to achieve to goal of optimizing teaching process.As an integrated work, clothing design hold complementary relationshipsbetween design of style and garment pattern. We must rely on garment patternexpertise to achieve designing of clothes. To master the unity of changing in clothesstyles and garment pattern structure is the most critical part in clothing design.However, most curriculum in clothing design major is usually divided into design andtechnology as two main lines. Teaching of clothing design tends to focus on clothingstyles on the surface but ignore the internal craft structure, or focus on the craftstructiure but neglect the design of styles. Garment pattern expertise usually cannot beeffectively reflected from the design of styles courses.This study analyzes the current status for clothing design technology andexpertise teaching and needs for talent education in fashion industry, looks intoeducation method combines clothing styles and garment patterns through digitalmeans. It also reconstruct and design the teaching contents and forms of design andgarment patterns technical course using interactive software to meet the teachingrequirement by showing these new systematic teaching contents through rationalinteractive design. A combination of integrated teaching contents and reasonableinteraction for design of styles and garment patterns will be developed from theperspective of teaching method.
