With the rapid development of technology and economy, intelligent instrument will play a more and more important role in measurement of energy consumption in people’s daily life. Additionally, the Construct Department of China has proposed the overall goal of information and intelligent residential construction in the future. Traditional energy measured instruments and energy consumed data acquisition methods can not meet the demand for modern society. The traditional energy consumed data acquisition main adopts manual collection mode, which will bring troubles such as poor real-timing measured data, inaccuracy and low efficiency, high cost. Therefore, the research of data acquisition system for intelligent instrument has great theoretical and practical significance.Compared with other countries, the research on the data acquisition system for intelligent instrument in our country are backward in technology and lack of standard communication protocol for products. Consequently, this paper designs a data acquisition system for intelligent instrument base on Modbus protocol. This system can set up acquisition parameters using PC control interface, wireless data transmission between data concentrator and data collector realized by CC2500. Data acquisition achieved by data collector base on Modbus protocol. Data concentrator uploads data to PC. PC control interface finishes the operation of data display、storage.The paper’s main content includes: 1、The paper analyzes current domestic and overseas research methods status of data acquisition system for intelligent instrument, introduces overall design plan of data acquisition system;2、According to the function of every part, proposes a design based on the STM32data acquisition system for intelligent instrument, determined the system overall architecture, the data communication mode and the control mode.3、Realization of system hardware design, such as STM32F103microprocessor as the core of the control system, CC2500wireless communication module, serial communication module, power module and PCB design;4、Completion of system software design, including data collector, data concentrator and wireless communication; the development software of PC control interface.5、Implementation of wireless communication and system function testing.
