Adopting low temperature waste heat power generation in cement kiln, it is animportant way to improve product efficiency,save energy and make continuousdevelopment. With the development of the technology of low temperature waste heatpower generation,distributed control system and all kinds of intelligent technologies, itmakes more and more cement kins begin waste heat power generation and applydistributed control system to waste heat power generation, realize the automatic controlof production process.Because the drum level of waste heat boiler has characteristics ofmany variables and nonlinear and strong coupling, the control of durm level become themost difficult problem of the control of waste heat power generation. The traditional wayof PID control is barely satisfactory, so using some advanced control strategy instead ofPID has become the current development direction. With the development and study ofthe theory of fuzzy control, so applying fuzzy control to the control of drum levelbecome the key point of this paper.This paper mainly study on the following several aspects according to thecharacteristics of waste heat power generation.(1)After having a strong understand of the main equipment composition andtechnological process of low temperature waste heat power generation in cement kiln,this paper design on the hardware configuration and software design in the LN2000DCSplatform. Then apply and debug it to the field.(2)At the same time study the characteristic of the durm level and classical controlstrategy, adopt the recursive extended least square method identification technique throghthe field data. At last, obtain the transfer function of the steam drum water level.(3)Based on the identified mathematical model and the theroy of fuzzy control,simulate the fuzzy self-tuning PID control for the steam drum water level in theMATLAB, and comparing with the traditional PID control. The simulation results showthat the fuzzy controller that used in the control of the drum water level can get bettereffect, and better than traditional PID control on the response speed, anti-interference androbustness. Finally, analysis the fuzzy self-tuning PID control in the application of DCS.
